The Rural Schools Association is a statewide, member driven organization dedicated to representing the interests of small and rural school districts in New York State. Approximately 300 school districts and BOCES units are currently enrolled as members of RSA. In addition to the financial support provided by RSA members, supplemental assistance is given by the Department of Education, New York State College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, Cornell University, in the form of office facilities, utilities, clerical assistance, and the use of equipment.

For Adult and Community Educators:

CLASP

Community Learning and Service Partnership (CLASP)

Cornell service employees choose their own learning goals (for example, studying for a GED, increasing reading and writing skills, help with study techniques), and Cornell students meet with them weekly, and confidentially, to help them meet those goals. The managers of Campus Life, Building Care, Grounds, Mail and Transportation, and the Statler Hotel have agreed to give employees release time for this program.
